Here’s what Torkelsen had to say about the Torsnes Beats series:
– I get inspired by a lot of things and I enjoy making different styles of music. Try out new recording techniques and ways to play with sounds. Torsnes Beats vol. 2 is an example of that. It’s different to my previous work, more messy and at times more energetic. There’s traces of dirt and lofi elements in a lot of it. These tapes aren’t meant to sound like an album, its more of a collection of different styles and ideas.
